In response to market demand, Offshore Solutions BV has now developed a pre-commissioned skid mounted package, which reduces quayside time of the vessel during installation to less than 24 hours. This new development makes the OAS far more attractive for short-term leases.
The total Offshore Access System, complete with personnel transfer walkway, hydraulic power unit, on board spares, and grillage steelwork weighs approximately 70Te. The footprint on deck of the complete system is 60sqm. The total area from a plan point of view at access level is 115sqm.
